Our Story

The story behind Mama Rozi

Mama Rozi wasn't just a name, she was a presence. Her kitchen was always full, her table always open. Whether you stopped by for a visit, a quick chat, with a full heart or a heavy one, there was always something sweet waiting for you.

This bakehouse carries that tradition forward, Eastern European sweet breads alongside European inspired tea cakes, meringues, madeleines, and other sweet treats. Simple ingredients, time-honored recipes, and food meant to be shared.

Unbleached flour, real butter, local honey, whole spices. If we wouldn't feed it to family, we won't bake with it.

Time-Honored Methods

Hand-laminated doughs, traditional fillings cooked from scratch, the way our grandmothers would recognize.

Baked Fresh, Limited Quantities

We bake in small batches each week, which means when it's gone, it's gone.
